LIUNA Chicago has a mandatory apprentice program for new members. The apprentice program can be bypassed under certain conditions. Those conditions include proof of related work experience of over 2400 hours, or any hours worked in LIUNA prior to 2020. If not, you must be sponsored by a signatory contractor first before entry into the Union. Please call the hall for more information regarding transferring in, exemptions, or newly hired apprentices.
